Who we are. Sarau (the app and the elsarau.cat website) is a personal project by Arnau Vilaró, in Catalonia. For anything at all: contacte@elsarau.cat.

What Sarau is. A free party game app, with no ads and no purchases. By using it, you accept these terms.

Age. Sarau is for people aged 16 and over. Adult content (the Calid mode and the 18+ cards) is only for people aged 18 and over: the app shows or hides it based on the age you enter, and it is your responsibility that it is your real age.

Drinking is optional, and it can be water. Some games, such as Never Have I Ever or Tyra, ask you to take a sip. You can drink whatever you like: water, a soft drink or a juice all count. Nobody has to drink alcohol.

• If you drink alcohol: only if you are of legal age, in moderation, and never if you have to drive afterwards.
• Respect anyone who doesn't want to drink, or who wants to stop.

Play with common sense. Dares and forfeits are a game. Nobody has to do anything they don't want to, and if a card doesn't feel right, skip it. Don't do anything that could hurt anyone, that is illegal, or that doesn't have the consent of the people involved.

What you write in Party Online. You write your player name and the characters in the Custom pack, and everyone else in the room sees them. You are responsible for them: no insults, no other people's personal details and nothing hurtful. They are not stored anywhere (see the privacy policy).

Using the server. Don't try to guess room codes, overload the server or use it for anything other than playing. The server cuts off connections that abuse it.

Liability. Sarau is provided as is, free of charge. Everyone is responsible for what they do while playing. Party Online may stop without notice, for example for maintenance or a restart; when that happens, open rooms end.

Intellectual property. The texts, cards, design and name of Sarau belong to the author. They may not be copied or reused without permission. The Nunito typeface has an open licence (SIL Open Font License).

Privacy. The privacy policy explains what data Sarau uses and how to delete it.

Governing law. These terms are governed by Spanish law.

Changes. If these terms change, we will say so on this page, with the new date.
